An experienced civil litigation attorney who has represented businesses and individuals in a variety of matters for more than 20 years.

Mr. Hunt concentrates his practice on contract law, labor and employment matters, business law, estate planning and sports law.  He has presented cases before the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas of Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia counties, as well as numerous arbitrations.

A strategic thinker who believes in the principles of compromise, but who vigorously advocates on behalf of his clients, Mr. Hunt is an experienced negotiator who is skilled at finding creative solutions, rather than siloed outcomes.  As a result, he has successfully represented both sides of labor and employment issues over the years.  Previously, Mr. Hunt served as Labor Counsel to Middletown Township, where he represented the township in collective bargaining with its unions, drafted employment contracts and policies, and oversaw its workers’ compensation and unemployment litigation matters.  In representing workers, Mr. Hunt has led collective bargaining for the faculty union of a local university and represented workers in a variety of matters, including a class-action lawsuit against one of the nation’s largest banks for violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act.  The experience of having represented both employers and employees in labor and employment matters, provides a unique perspective not common among most attorneys.

In advising businesses, Mr. Hunt has represented sole proprietors, as well as small-to-medium size companies, including franchise businesses. His representation has covered from company inception through acquisition, merger, dissolution or succession planning, including the many twists and turns throughout the life of a business. An increasing occurrence is the family business seeking its next leadership team and navigating the legal and personal issues of succession planning.  In advising clients on succession planning, Mr. Hunt relies upon 20 years of estate planning and probate experience to offer legally sound and practical guidance.

Mr. Hunt has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, interpreting and litigating contracts.  He successfully represented the estate of a well-known personality against the NFL and NFL Films in a precedent-setting federal case regarding Right of Publicity and the Lanham Act.  Additionally, on behalf of his clients, he has negotiated numerous endorsements / sponsorships with national and international companies including Ford Motor, Co., Disney / ESPN, Nike, American Express and others.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Hunt spent nearly twenty years representing and advising amateur and professional athletes in baseball, football, golf and action sports.  He is a former NFLPA certified Contract Advisor, former MLB certified Player Agent and former credentialed PGA Tour Player Manager.
