Partner Announcement – Michael J. Meginniss

Begley Carlin and Mandio LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Meginniss has been elected to Partnership in the firm.

Mr. Meginniss concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning, land development, municipal law as well as financial and banking law. His practice in these areas includes presentation of applicants, both individuals and businesses, before municipal governing bodies, planning commissions and zoning hearing boards. In addition to representing the aforesaid applicants, Mr. Meginniss has provided, and continues to provide, representative services as solicitor on behalf of Chalfont Borough, and is assisting as solicitor on behalf of several other municipal governing bodies in Bucks County.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Meginniss served as a law clerk for the Honorable Theodore Fritsch, Jr. in the Bucks County of Common Pleas. Mr. Meginniss, as Chair or the Orphan’s Court Section of the Bucks County Bar Association, maintains an active Orphans’ Court practice, in addition to his land development and municipal focus.

A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Meginniss was recipient of the Order of Samaritan Award, Dean’s Public Service Award, and the University Award for his performance as a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. While in law school, Mr. Meginniss worked for the Office of the Governer of Alabama, for Federal Judge L. Scott Coogler, and for Legal Service Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University.

Born and raised in Bucks County, Mr. Meginniss is an avid Philadelphia sports fan who enjoys golf and basketball in his spare time.
