Mr. Meginniss concentrates his practice in the area of zoning, land development and municipal law, in addition to financial and banking law. Mr. Meginniss’ practice in these areas includes representation of applicants, both individuals and businesses, before municipal governing bodies, planning commissions and zoning hearing boards. In addition to representing the aforesaid applicants, Mr. Meginniss has provided representative services as solicitor on behalf of several municipal governing bodies in Bucks County.
Mr. Meginniss has been lead counsel for a number of the region's largest commercial and industrial projects, including on behalf of NorthPoint, Parx Casino, Chick-fil-A, Waste Management and Pennsylvania Steel.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Meginniss served as a law clerk for the Honorable C. Theodore Fritsch, Jr., in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Meginniss, previously served as Chair of the Orphans’ Court Section of the Bucks County Bar Association.
A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Meginniss was a recipient of the Order of Samaritan Award, Dean’s Public Service Award, and the University of Alabama School of Law’s Public Interest Certificate. He also received the Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Award for his performance as a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. While in law school, Mr. Meginniss worked for the Office of the Governor in Alabama, for Federal Judge L. Scott Coogler, and for Legal Services Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University.
Born and raised in Bucks County, Mr. Meginniss is an avid Philadelphia sports fan who enjoys golf and basketball in his spare time.
